Hello MMRT families and welcome to new members. MMRT looks forward to another season of young racers having fun and improving their ski racing skills.

Please print and complete the membership application; parent volunteer form, Alpine Release & Waiver for each parent volunteer, and medical release forms, and return as soon as possible with fees. While registration will remain open all season, a late fee of $20 per racer will apply to those registrations postmarked after December 1st. All forms and fees must be received one week prior to the member’s first race.

As in years past, we will be communicating with our members largely through email, so please list only one primary email address to which you would like to receive information. As always, the MMRT Hotline (222-2221) is the best source of last minute information. Please visit the MMRT web site at www.skimmrt.com for a variety of MMRT information, including the MMRT handbook and race results.

Our annual parent meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m.,  Tuesday, November 29, at the Marquette Mountain Chalet. It is important that at least one parent from each family attend this meeting. We will go over this year’s schedule and organize the volunteer groups for the coming season. Please bring your calendar so you can sign up to work at the scheduled races. The volunteer requirement for this year’s season is a 4-race minimum per family (again, working the swap counts as one). The requirement exists in order to have sufficient volunteers for races. To ensure that each family fulfills the volunteer requirement, a $200 check made payable to MMRT will be required from each family and held until the four-race minimum is met. If your family is unable to commit to volunteering, you may still OPT-OUT on the parent volunteer sign-up sheet and MMRT will deposit your family’s check promptly.

Racer(s) who show up on race day without their bib, will not be allowed to race.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact Christie Close, Board President)
